Reply to Query

Some of the followers asked for step by step pictures or video of the nail arts. I have taken a note of it. Well, many of my arts are as 2 years old. I was a beginner then. I didn't know that someday I would be writing a blog about my hobby! Hence many nail arts will be without stepwise pictures/video. I extremely apologize for the discomfort faced by the users. But I try my best to write the descriptions as simple and clear as possible. I will upload source images/ videos for better understanding of the viewers. From now, I will start to take pictures for each step for my nail arts lately done, and will, post them soon.
Thank you for your cooperation and support.
See you soon.

Colour colour which colour do you want..Part 2

Hello Friends!
In the last post, we have seen the most used colours for nail arts: Colour colour which colour do you want..Part 1
You can see all other posts in the right hand corner of the blog.
Today we will see which colours complement each other and can be combined for attractive and elegant nail arts. Whenever we go for a nail art all we are confused about is which colours should we go for or which colour do we want or how to use these colours and many more..
Let us see how!

1. Bright colours (Neon):

Bright colours always go together. Never use dark colours with these colours. White colour is always well put with these colours. Don't use black with them as it overcomes the colour effect created by bright colours. But black can be used as a base for these colours so as white.
Use black and/or white only for bright colours.
Use only bright colours for nailarts.
For example:

2. White and black:

No colour complements each other in a way as black and white. Only the use of these two colours completes your nail art.
Use bright and/or white colour with black.
Use bright and/or black colour with white.
For example:

3. Light colours:

Light colours are very well used in nail arts. Using sparkle/stones on them give them a really bright effect. Black is not used frequently with them but white is. Pink looks the most elegant one.
Use light colours with light colours and/or white colour.
Give them sparkle effect.
For example:

4. Dark colours:

Dark colours are either are used as it is or with black. Stones and sparkles are used but not in much amount.
Use dark with dark colour only.
Use sparkle and/stones in limited amount.
For example:

All of this was based on my experience. If you have more suggestions, please comment and let me know about it.

3. French nails with a twist!

Hello friends!!
It being a Saturday, so, its a nail art day!! Today I have come up with an art for the people who love French nails and sparkle arts at the same time.
Let's get started!

French nails with a Twist!

Follow these steps for French nails with a twist nail art :

1. Remove the previous paint by cleaning the nail paint with thinner/ nail paint remover/ acetone.

2. Apply a layer of transparent nail paint as a nail protector so as to protect our nails from damage of colour. (Important to note)

3. Apply the sparkle nail paint as you do in French manicure i.e. make a vertical line as a boundary of nail paint, then apply paint above the surface of that boundary. Make sure you dab the sparkle paint so that it spreads equally in all directions. To learn how, have a look at the video.

4. Wait for some time to let it dry. (another layer on wet nail paint could remove the layer below)

5. After the art is done, let it dry. Then put a thick layer of transparent nail paint on your nails to safeguard your art.

6. Remove the paint on side skin with earbuds dipped in nail paint remover for final finishing. (Please ignore the nail paint on my skin, I was once a beginner too!)

7. Your nails are now more beautiful than ever!

1. The power of Sparkle!

The power of Sparkle!

Hello friends!!
Here comes the first nail art of the blog. I have described nail arts in words which are as simple for even a lay'man to understand. I know there are sites where the tools used are either costly or difficult to find. Don't worry, here comes the solution. The products used by me are easy to find. There is no need to have high class nail paints. A simple nail paint does all the work. Believe me or not, I have used nail paint which had cost me just rs.20  and they did wonders!!

Following are the steps to wear this nail art:

1. Remove the previous paint by cleaning the nail paint with thinner/ nail paint remover/ acetone.
2. Apply a layer of transparent nail paint as a nail protector so as to protect the nails from damage of colour. (Important to note)
3. Apply a layer of any colour of your choice. Here I have used Blue.
4. Wait for some time to let it dry. (another layer on wet nail paint could remove the layer below)
5. Choose any one finger nail on which you wish to apply sparkle. Mostly we go for ring finger as seen in my nail art.
6. Apply any kind of sparkle nail paint on that nail. See to it that it matches with your nail colour. Here I have used a silver sparkle colour nail paint.
NOTE: If you are applying sparkle on your whole nail, never go for all the nails. While applying the sparkle paint, dab it instead of applying it like ordinary nail paints. It gives a better texture and spreads equally.
7. After the art is done, let it dry. Then put a thick layer of transparent nail paint on your nails to safeguard your art.
8. Remove the paint on side skin with earbuds dipped in nail paint remover for final finishing. (Please ignore the nail paint on my skin, I was once a beginner too!)
9. Your nails are now more beautiful than ever!
